One-Stroke Painting class at the Library!
Connie Steffen from El Paso will be teaching the one-stroke method of painting at the Library on Monday evenings, Feb. 27, March 5, and March 12 at 6:30. This is the type of painting that Donna Dewberry teaches on video and tv. We will be painting a clay pot and learning different strokes. There will be no charge for the class but you will need materials. Connie will have supplies available for everyone at a cost of $15. Register at the Library by Feb. 15 at 747-2284. No children please.
Brad Neal will be teaching two 3 hour classes on demystifying your digital camera at the Gridley Library on Feb.4 and 11 at 9 am. In these classes, you will learn the essentials to confidently take your camera ”Auto Mode” once and for all! With real world examples and live demonstrations we will equip you to effectively take control of your camera versus your camera dictating to you what settings are best for you. Although most of this material is intended for those using DSLR (35mm) cameras, this information will benefit all aspiring photographers – including those using pocket-sized point and shot models. There will be no charge for the class. Participants will need to bring their cameras and owner manual. Register for the class by Jan. 26 by calling the Library at 747-2284.
