The threat of rain only made us pivot our plans a little today for our End of Summer Reading Party! Huge thank you to the Christ Community Church of Gridley for allowing us to set up the party inside their gym today instead of risking electrocution at the park! And thanks to M & K Parties for bringing the bouncy houses! And to Lula Mae’s for providing Shaved Ice to all our visitors! #alltogethernow

Summer Reading Teen Party rewarded teen readers with Pizza, pop, games, and prizes for reading throughout the summer!

How far can you shoot a marshmallow or pom pom using a tongue depressor catapult? That’s what our STEM participants tried to figure out! We had some shoot as far as 30 feet!

We learned about kindness and friendship at storytime during Summer Reading. And made cards to send to anyone who could use a little dose of kindness throughout their day!
