Join us on Tuesday, November 11 @ 6 pm at the Library with Bob Cyphers, former reporter, current author as he discusses and signs his new book “25 Frozen 1 Thawed” set to release this September.
About the author: “Bob Cyphers is an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy-award-winning journalist. He has spent the past 40 plus years chasing some of America’s biggest news stories. He has worked in newspaper, radio and television, small markets, medium and large. For the past 35 years, he served as a Senior News Editor at KMOV-TV in St. Louis. In 1992, a serial killer known as the “I-70 Serial Killer” murdered six people along Interstate 70, a major east-west highway through the Midwest. In 2021, a task force formed to take one final crack at solving the crimes. Law enforcement officers chose Bob to follow them in the hunt for the killer. His work chasing the I-70 serial killer resulted in an Edward R. Murrow award, among the most prestigious in journalism. His most recent book, “25 Frozen, 1 Thawed” was just released this month. It profiles cold cases in Illinois and Missouri, including the 1975 murder of Carol Rofstad at Illinois State University. Bob and his wife Alison have retired to Normal where Bob continues to write, and they chase around their grandchildren.”
