Harold Gregor, Landscape Artist Program

Gridley Public Library has the privilege of hosting Harold Gregor for a program on Thursday, September 28, at 7:00 p.m.  Come meet the artist who did the large painting of a cornfield in the library and hear his story.  Gregor spent 25 years as a Professor of Art at ISU retiring in 1995.  He also had a painting displayed on the first floor of the White House under President Obama’s presidency.  He is known as a “Distinguished Professor of Art” and the “Dean of the Heartland School of Landscape Painters.”

100-year-logoThe Gridley Public Library District board and staff would like to invite the patrons to an Open House Thursday, August 11th, from 6 – 8 pm.  This evening will give you an opportunity to see updates to the library, view the Gridley Telephone Museum, and see the new Gridley History Room.  Please join us in celebrating 100 years of providing library service to the Gridley community!
