“Warm Up with a Good Book! Read a Latte!!!” is the Gridley Library’s adult reading program beginning January 23 and ending March 6. For every book from the Gridley Library that you read, you can enter into a drawing to win a prize! The more you read, the greater your chances of winning. This Tuesday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m., there will be a bracelet-making class with Abby Kessinger! Each person will make a set of 3 personalized bracelets. Space is limited so please sign-up at the library. There will be a $15 fee for supplies.
1901 Gridley Fire Presentation
Please join us this Thursday, September 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Gridley Telephone Museum as Dee Perry shares about the 1901 Gridley Fire and other local historical stories.
Harold Gregor, Landscape Artist Program
Gridley Public Library has the privilege of hosting Harold Gregor for a program on Thursday, September 28, at 7:00 p.m. Come meet the artist who did the large painting of a cornfield in the library and hear his story. Gregor spent 25 years as a Professor of Art at ISU retiring in 1995. He also had a painting displayed on the first floor of the White House under President Obama’s presidency. He is known as a “Distinguished Professor of Art” and the “Dean of the Heartland School of Landscape Painters.”
